Assessment and Feedback

 

You are expected to fulfil ALL of the following to pass this attachment:

  • Go through all of the online asynchronous learning modules either before or at the beginning of the attachment. 
  • Attend three clinical ED shifts and have each of these signed off in the attendance log at the end of this book by your supervisor for that day. 
  • Conduct yourself professionally.This includes being on time, well groomed and polite when asking appropriate questions, applying due consideration of your and others’ views and feelings, and demonstrating the ability to seek help when you need it.
  • Safety is job one. Your safety and that of patients and staff must be your top priority.
  • At the end of you ED/GP attachment your Handbook does not need to be handed in. You should keep it as a resource.

 NOTE – there is no distinction component to the Emergency Medicine assessment.
