Produce the report
Edit the first draft
Editing involves checking the content of your writing. There are four key areas to think about:
- Is your work on track?
- Have you supported your ideas sufficiently?
- Are your ideas expressed clearly?
- Have you structured your ideas into paragraphs and sections?
Proofreading
Proofreading is the stage of your writing where you are happy with the content and now just need to check for errors. This involves looking at:
- spelling,
- grammar,
- punctuation and
- referencing.
