Assessment of Laboratory Reports
Completion of the laboratory component of MEDSCI 206 requires the submission (on time) of the following FOUR pieces of assessment;

1)    Human Nerve Action Potential Conduction (4 %),
2)     Vision and Hearing (3 %),
3)   Kinesthesia, Touch & Proprioception (4 %),
4)    Neurodegenerative Study (4 %)


Note: Reports are to be submitted before 10.30am before the next laboratory session (see lab guide page 1).

You are reminded of BSc Regulation 5:

    "In any paper that includes practical work as well as written work, a student must obtain passes in both the practical and written work in order to pass that paper as a whole."

A pass in Physiology MEDSCI 206 thus requires:

  1. Attendance and active participation at Laboratory Practicals.
  2. Submission of 4 assessments (as above).
  3. A minimum mark of 7.5 out of 15 on the Laboratory course component.
