Extras for experts: test yourself

1. True or False? The fewer references you cite the better. Academic writing needs lots of personal opinion and individual knowledge and not too much scholarly literature.

2. True or False? A journal reference should contain enough information for your readers to be able to find it via a library catalogue, database or the internet.

3. True or False? Referencing an authority on your particular topic will give your ideas more credibility.

4. True or False? Academic integrity doesn't count at an undergraduate level.
