  • Significant skeletal injuries in trauma
  • Missed injuries in major trauma

Fluid Resuscitation

  • Familiarity with fluids available
  • Choice of fluids
  • Mode of delivery
  • Strategies in fluid resuscitation

Transfer

Objectives:

Understanding of transfer options, the advantages and hazards, preparation and organization

  • Retrieval medicine
  • Aeromedical transfer
  • Intrahospital transfer
