Confidentiality Agreement
A condition of participating in the EMAC course is that you agree to keep confidential the content of the scenarios and the actions and discussions of the participants.
This is because prior knowledge of the scenarios will degrade the experience for future participants. We are keen for you to share the lessons and strategies but not the scenario detail. More importantly, participants must be confident that their actions and contribution to discussions will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to others.
Review of scenario videos during debriefing is helpful and your agreement to this is also a condition of taking part in the course / workshop.
Scenario videos are erased at the end of the course. Audios of debriefing discussions may be retained for the sole purpose of review by instructors for course quality assurance.
The Simulation Centre for Patient Safety and the instructors undertake to ensure that the actions/discussions of participants on the course will remain confidential and that no performance report is given to your employer or to any regulatory or training organisation.
If you have any questions about this confidentiality form, please contact us at scpsadmin@auckland.ac.nz
