5. Referencing
Referencing is an important part of your literature review - you are acknowledging the research and ideas of other scientists and showing that you have undertaken a thorough and appropriate literature search.
Remember:
- What you have referred to in text must also be in your reference list and vice versa.
- Make sure you use a referencing style consistently and accurately
- Focus on quality over quantity – use appropriate, relevant references
