Researching and writing a literature review Biomedical Skills |
2. Finding, organising and evaluating information
2.1 Finding information
Unfortunately there is no magic number for how much literature you will find or need to find for a literature review; it will depend on your topic. For example, a new area may not have much published literature whereas for a well-established topic you may find a lot of literature and need to narrow/focus your search.
Once you've got an idea for your topic and done some preliminary background searching....it's time to do some more in-depth focused searching.
