Start with what you already have....

You may have found a good primary research article or even a review article on your topic. You can use these as starting points to find other relevant research.

1. Got a good research article on your topic?

Search for the title of your article in Google Scholar

Look at:

  • Related articles
  • Cited by

2.  Got a good review article on your topic?

  • This may give you a useful overview of what literature is available on your topic
  • Look for keywords you can use in your searching
  • Look for other references to literature that might be relevant

However be careful when using a literature review that you don't just regurgitate or summarise what is in the review; you are expected to read the original articles and do your own independent searching of the literature.
