4.5 Writing a strong introduction and conclusion
4.5.1 Introduction
The introduction provides brief context for the reader, the thesis statement and outlines the structure of your literature review. The introduction is the first thing your marker reads and gives them a sense of what will be covered and why it is important.
Keep your introduction brief and to the point - remember it is a preview and you will cover the topics in greater depth later on.
