Conditional release
Hiding pages - the old way
If you do not wish anyone to see your CourseBuilder pages or sub-pages, then you can keep them hidden until you wish to release them. This feature is useful for lecturers who want to prepare pages in advance but who only wish students to see the page in the week of their lectures. This has been a feature in CourseBuilder for a long time.
Hiding Pages - Conditional Release
With Conditional Release you can specify exactly when you want a page to become visible. A lecturer could therefore set the dates at the beginning of the semester.
Have a Go
A lecturer asks you how they can make a page available to students on the 14th September 2015 at 9.00am.
- Open your Sandbox
- Select Week 1 and click on the edit icon
- Change the release date on the page to 9.00am on 14 September 2015
