WAH software overview

The University has several licenses which allow installation of various software on University owned computers
Some of the licenses also allow for students, staff and some contractors (mostly UniServices) to install software on their personal computers/devices
This software is called Work-at-Home (WAH) software
Officially, WAH software should only be used for University work, and should be uninstalled upon completion of studies
Some WAH software is free while others must be purchased
WAH software options vary for students and staff with some software being free for students (e.g. Microsoft Office) but not for staff, and vice-versa (e.g. EndNote)
Some WAH software is only available for staff/contractors but not for students (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud)
If students or staff need software that is not provided by the University, they will need to purchase it directly from the vendor
Downloading and installing WAH software is the responsibility of students and staff
