Databases

We recommend if you search PubMed or Medline that you also search Embase. Embase is particularly strong on pharmacology and has Limits for Routes of drug administration and Special filters for adverse effects and children, elderly and pregnancy

If your research or assignment topic has for example a business, management, social sciences or counselling aspect you may want to also search some of their appropriate databases eg Browse Faculty: Business & economics (and management), Law and Counselling, human services and social work databases.

How many databases you need to search depends on how exhaustive your research needs to be.
